Many are asking about the future of ministry in Taiwan
As you may know, Hong Kong closed for training Chinese Pastors less than two years ago.
The city was transferred back to China's control in 1997 after a 99-year lease expired with the United Kingdom.
We began working in Hong Kong in 2003. We started the first church there and the training of church planters in 2008, but we always knew things could change anytime.
Taiwan is populated with Chinese, and we have a project to give out one million tracts there and start house churches there this year.
However, it's challenging to get the Chinese church planters there now.
And there is a possibility that Taiwan will close to ministry.
We are using other locations around Asia that are working well.
But the expense has increased.
Let's pray that God will provide wisdom and the resources to help these brave church planters with training and resources to start their ministry.
Thank you,
John and Cathy Honeycutt
